zero-point is "verb (used with object) to adjust (an instrument or apparatus) to a zero point or to an arbitrary reading from which all other readings are to be measured." start over with new perameters, environment, welcome the communities, known and yet known...

this is a return to blankness, modularity, built space. determining new location to reference / reference to locate. south of downtown (sodo) los angeles.

zero-point energy is the ground state of a system....
there must be something that is smaller, but the definition of zero-point energy is as the last piece of the universe.

zero-point energy is a special kind of energy that can/may be able to make more energy than is put in.

one thing zero-point is: a belief in the "ether" as some would call it, a most fundamental, cohesive substance, which can be measured. the most basic part of the universe. i believe that this substance may be catalyzed by the exchange of art/thoughts/etc.

following this symbolic logic, the performance, making, or experience of art can become part of the synapse set-off flurry of thought tangents exploding through many different 'paths' thought before, or blazing new paths. put in an amount of energy and it generates more.

... if this is a manifesto - here is a small definition of art according to it ... art as thing to hand someone or have them watch / interact with.

art is captured - someone's art is to make solid, or to document, the intangible hybrid response to thought or feeling or event.
and / or
art is a concept that is enacted through communication.

the initial creation point makes something to show.

that caught essence is some artifact or experience brought to new form.

art is deliberate - or the constructs that determine it to be part of chance are deliberate.

up from the ether - the sub.conscious - the collective consciousness -
wherever or whatever that is, the nether-self dreams dreams and art makes it out.

so much has gone into the definitions, connotations, and concepts that gave name to zero-point.
the zen is physics is adventure. so this page will continue to grow, organic-deliberate, a focused letting go.

on moving day, five people helped us move the piano upstairs to zero-point. what an accomplishment with only 2x4's to help slide the instrument up the steep steps, making the ascent a success, and building a crossing for that generous donation that everyone can play, which needs some medical help, but perhaps that can be on our wish list...piano tuner? what does it even matter after people have risked life and limb for such a noble beast. that piano is a ground state in the ground state. it resonates so rich in that expanse.

the point is defined as: "The major idea or essential part of a concept or narrative," and thereby is the summing up of summing up. the synthesis.

zero-point is a new beginning, in a place that has an excess of potential. what zero-point becomes is up to you who may read this.

we can do our work in the time span over eternity, and we will be satisfied, but not to share such a lucky find would be to not give props to the forces that made this happen - those deliberate dreams at the core of us all.

to share those are what makes more of it - that very visceral, yet ephemeral energy catalyzed by those dreams : deliberate dreams at the core of us all.
